About Ann

Ann is a third generation Californian who was trained an an artist and photographer by her mother and father. Ann graduated from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and has free lanced in art and photography since the 1980s. She has many published works and has won awards as an artist in Sonoma County.

About Jesse

Jesse is a third generation San Francisan. He met Ann in high school and found to his delight that they had the same sense of humor. In 1977, Jesse and Ann ran away to Carson City, Nevada to get married and spent their honeymoon in Disneyland. They have lived together for 31 years - always a grand adventure full of surprises and horses. Together, they have shown their stallion, Sir RH Maximilian in California, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Ann and Jesse's Horse Philosophy

We believe in caring for horses in the best possible way for their health. We feed only Dynamite supplements. because we feel they are the best quality that we have ever found. We were introduced to them in 1997, and have been using them ever since with wonderful results. Our horses are never under the weather and travel well wherever we take them.

We also believe in equine chiropractic, massage, acupressure and acupuncture. We have completed Diana Thompson's Hands on Horsecare course in acupressure and have been practicing this technique since 2003. Our stallion, Sir RH Maximilian, is the horse that Diana Thompson used as a model throughout her book: Acupressure for Horses (www.dianathompson.com). Diana felt that Max's muscle development and conformation was perfect for showing acupressure points on a horse.

Together, we found we loved showing horses at halter and riding for fun. The breeding business came naturally. Since our stallion , Max, has such a remarkable disposition, our breeding business has been very successful and has helped us meet many like minded other horse people. We are so grateful for all the wonderful support we have received from people from all over the United States.
